Karla Casós

I was born in Chiclayo, in northern Peru. My life since I was a child was always related to acting and music. Not only did I belong to the theater company of my city, I also sang and played instruments such as the piano and the trumpet. In addition, he was an athlete at school. Therefore, art and sport are part of my lifestyle. Obtaining gold medals in several sports disciplines later led me to be a finalist in a famous reality of competitions on Chilean television, as important as the American Ninja.

My artistic career began while modeling, however my life was marked by studies. I learned a second language, English, without imagining my future projects. Thus, I arrived in Miami hired by the Image Model and Talent agency and then traveled to New York, where I studied Administration and Acting at the NYFA.

Being an actress is one of the facets that I value the most. I participated in soap operas, theater, series and movies in Chile and Peru. My passion for acting is constant preparation and demanding discipline. Each audition becomes a new challenge and a very pleasant experience to continue learning. I feel fit for a leading role. Today, I live in Los Angeles, California and I can say that participating in American and Latin productions is a huge satisfaction.

In Peru, as a television host of "Desafío Mujer", I learned about topics of interest to women in all their roles. My life in front of the cameras and the media made me increasingly responsible as a social communicator. I am one of the women who seeks to transmit values and principles that add to their gender, family and society.

With the title of "Mrs. World Peru" I represented my country at "Mrs. World 2016" in China. Thus, I participated as an official spokesperson in campaigns in favor of the fight against breast cancer and information campaigns to prevent cancer in Peru. In addition, with the Ministry of Women I carried out campaigns to support vulnerable women and victims of family and psychological violence. Today more than ever, I feel a great responsibility to generate a positive impact on the women who follow my digital platforms.
